New TETRA Filter Products from Amphenol Procom
Amphenol Procom has announced new TETRA Filter products to its TETRA product line up to meet the demands of is demand Public Safety and Mission Critical sectors that have expanded TETRA bands from Tx/Rx 2 x 5MHz to now 2 x 6.5MHz.
The products are as follows:
PRO-DPBP 380-EXT Duplex Band-Pass Filter The PRO-DPBP 380-EXT is a high-quality 2 x 6-resonator Duplex Band Pass Filter designed to combine the TETRA extended Tx and Rx bands to one common antenna. It has been extended for TETRA Band networks using 2 x 6.5MHz bandwidth. It can be used in high power Base Stations and benefit, among others from having a very low PIM ≤ -150 dBc (@ 2 x 20W). The high-performance filter design provides improved isolation between the Tx and the Rx TETRA band. A pure silver-plating inside the filter ensures a very low PIM and insertion loss. The filter is rated for a continuous power up to 200W and peak power up to 800W. The filter uses reduced length ¼λ cavities in a compact, robust aluminium housing. The filter can be fitted into a 19” 2 HU space when mounted on a 19” front plate. The PRO-DPBP 380-400/410-430 Duplex Band-Pass Filter combines TETRA 380 - 400MHz and 410 - 430MHz into one standard antenna. This filter benefits from using 2 x 6 ¼λ cavity resonators built into a robust aluminium housing. The filter is silver-plated inside, ensuring a very low insertion loss. The filter is for high power up to 200W and can be fitted into a 19” 3HU mounting tray, 300 mm in depth. The DPF 70/55 380-EXT has been developed for the Public Safety TETRA extended network using 2 x 6.5MHz bandwidth. The DPF 70/55 380-EXT uses 2 x 5 resonators ¼λ in a compact, extruded aluminium cavity housing, and the chassis is made of passivated steel. The filter is rated to a power of max. 50W.
