Boost Your Coverage with the 4270 and 4280 High Gain Omni Null Fill LTE Antennas
Designed for mission-critical and business-critical communication systems, the new 4270 and 4280 High Gain Omni Antennas from Amphenol Procom are a key addition to our range. Standout feature of these antennas are their exceptional PIM (Passive Intermodulation) and PIP (Peak Input Power) performance, ensuring unmatched reliability and signal clarity in demanding environments.
The 42xx series antennas offer two configurations to meet specific network challenges:
• Null-fill version: Ideal for reducing signal "nulls" at lower elevation angles, this option redistributes energy from the main beam to fill in coverage gaps. It is ideal for urban environments or hilly landscapes. It ensures more consistent coverage, preventing weak spots at low angles and enhancing overall reliability.
• No null-fill version: (Standard high-gain antennas) This version maintains more energy in the main beam for maximum coverage radius, making it best suited for open and flat terrains where extended range is the key priority.
Why PIM and PIP Matters?
▪ Low PIM: The 4270 and 4280 antennas deliver outstanding low PIM performance, significantly reducing signal distortion caused by intermodulation. This ensures cleaner signals, better data throughput and fewer dropped connections, which is crucial for LTE and modern communication networks where interference can compromise performance.
▪ High PIP: In modern digital multi-carrier systems, PIP becomes critical as it addresses power peaks that can lead to arcing or damage in antenna systems. The 4270 and 4280 antennas are designed to manage high PIP avoiding such risks and ensuring long-term reliability even in systems with high Peak Average Power Ratios (PAPR). This is essential for handling complex modulations and maintaining signal integrity across various environments.
Key Benefits of the 4270 / 4280 Antenna
▪ High Gain: Maximises coverage with consistent signal strength over large areas.
▪ Null-Fill Option: Ensures even coverage across lower elevation angles, eliminating weak spots in critical areas.
▪ Durability: Rugged design that can handle harsh environments, perfect for long-term deployments.
Whether deploying networks in urban areas or across vast open spaces the 4270 & 4280 High Gain Omni Antenna provide the signal clarity and strength needed to support the most demanding RF applications.
