Amphenol Procom Power Splitters and Power Dividers
Amphenol Procom Power Splitters and Power Dividers for combiners are commonly used with RF systems for splitting out a radio transmitter to an array of antennas, radiating cables or other Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), such as in tunnels and buildings.
Typically, these splits will be in a 2, 3 or 4 way split. Power Splitters and Power Dividers make it possible to take an input signal and deliver multiple output signals with specific phase and amplitude characteristics.
Amphenol Procom Power Splitters can withstand high continuous power, up to 500 W. They are designed to work on both the VHF and UHF frequency bands from 70-2700 MHz. Furthermore, they benefit by having a very low insertion loss and good VSWR
Power Dividers are built for mainly low power applications and they benefit by having good isolation between output ports. They generally are used to connect two antennas to the same radio transmitter or combine two transmitters to one antenna.
